Part-Time Lease Administrative Officer Required at Western Cape
Our client, an acknowledged specialist in the development and implementation of property solutions situated in Stellenbosch, currently has the above-mentioned position available for a driven, detail-orientated individual with strong interpersonal skills (verbal & written), that can work independently and function well under pressure.
The ideal candidate has immaculate numerical-, administrative- and negotiation skills, and an eagerness to learn.
The successful candidate’s tasks will focus on commercial property (retail) and will include (but not be limited to):
*Tenant Lease Portfolio Administration
*Liaising with landlords and tenants on the tenant’s retail leasing portfolio
*Communication with landlords on behalf of Tenants
*Assisting with Review lease agreements
*Assisting with Drafting counteroffers, and communication related to leasing agreements
*Follow-up on communication sent to either landlord or tenant
*Filing of all communication between landlord and tenant
*Logging/Completing file notes on MS Outlook – Task
*Compiling and submitting tenant FICA information to landlords
*Preparing, updating, capturing new leases on client’s monthly lease schedules & status reports
*Reconciliation of clients’ rental accounts vs. lease obligations
*Rental Invoice verifications *General admin and all other tasks related to the role.
Essential skills, qualifications, and experience:
• Company Secretarial Diploma or similar qualification (part-time LLB studies can be considered);
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience;
• Basic understanding of leasing agreements and/or contractual terminology;
• Strong customer-service orientation;
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, especially Word, Excel & Outlook);
• Own reliable transport.
