The appointee should:
- NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults).
- Firearm Competency Certificate.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a related role.
- Valid drivers’ license.
- Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) Grade C registered.
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
Advantageous requirements:
- Assessor Certificate
- Moderator Certificate
- Certificate in ETD Level 3
- Relevant Dog handler DH3 qualification or equivalent
Key responsibilities:
SHE compliance & quality Management systems:
- Maintain and comply with SHE standards within the work environment.
- Participate in risk assessments and investigate and take appropriate action as per identified risks.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Approve department’s documents.
- Comply with requirements of the Quality Management System.
Corporate Governance and Business Ethics:
- Ensure adherence and compliance with legal requirements to support organisation’s code of conduct, corporate governance and ethics guidelines
Technical Competencies:
- Computer skills (MS Office and Symplexity).
- Demonstrate knowledge of assessments (Registered Assessor)
- Demonstrate understanding of training and development legal requirements (QCTO, SAQA, SASETAs, etc.)
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of basic Legal, Health and Safety and Environmental principles used in the workplace.
- Understanding of the Human Resources and training value chain.
Dog Care and maintenance:
- Illness and disease management (inoculation programmes, etc)
- Kennel management (hygiene, feeding, watering, cleaning, etc)
Building a values-based organizational culture:
- Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan.This
support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment such as the BeQ.
