Requirements:
- Grade 12 Senior Certificate
- Three years of experience obtained through experience that has some bearing on the job and is not restricted to the current organisation
- Computer literacy.
- Technical & Supervisory courses will serve as an added advantage

- Basic knowledge of building maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and electrical
- Basic knowledge of air conditioning (split unit)
- Valid driver’s license (Code EB – code 8), while a Code EC (code 10) driver’s license with PDP will be an added advantage
- Literate (read and write) in the SANParks communication language (English)
- Basic knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Three years of working experience in the eco-tourism or hospitality industry
- Extensive knowledge of customer service

Responsibilities:
- To do routine maintenance of facilities which include tourism accommodation, staff accommodation, bird hide, lookout point, picnic sites, ablution blocks and other infrastructures at Lower Sabie camp
- To inspect buildings, electrical installations and infrastructures for functionality and safety at Lower Sabie.
- To carry out instructions given by the Maintenance Officer.
- To ensure the smooth running of the administration: completion of job cards and service records.
- To allocate tasks and supervise the general worker team.
- Ensure that every member of the team is aware of and complies with the prescribed safety standards.
- Conduct monthly stock-taking
- Conduct maintenance daily and monthly units inspection
