Description:
- The Technician Apprentice will partner with their assigned mentor technician to learn and develop their skills as a hands-on technicians.
- As an apprentice, you will participate in a paid one-year programme, focused on internal and external training and development in preparation for a technician career with Brandsigns.
- You will be responsible for completing all required coursework, working in various departments, and completing work assigned by your manager and mentor.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend and complete training programs and coursework as required.
- Partner with mentor technician to learn and complete projects on the production line, and on-site trips for on-the-job training.
- Demonstrate an ability to learn to effectively manufacture parts, assemble and install signage.
Qualifications:
- High School Certification (preferably from a Technical High School)
- College courses in technical fields will be an advantage
- Previous work experience in signage or related fields is also an advantage.

Requirements:
- Must be mechanically inclined with great hand-eye coordination, tech-savvy, and should enjoy working with your hands, taking things apart, and putting them back together just to see how they work.
- Must be well organized for effective time management.
- Must speak English at the required level to safely and competently perform all job duties.
- May be requested to work overtime and weekends.
- This position can involve travel to various sites within South Africa, and being willing to travel is a requirement of the position.
- Technicians must be able to work at heights and carry heavy items.
