JOB ADVERT SUMMARY

An opportunity has become available within our operations for an experienced General Worker who will be based on our contract.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to carry out all reasonable instructions from Supervisor

• Offloading fresh and frozen chicken products

• Offloading baskets and pallets while adhering to stacking requirements

• Operating a tail lift and pallet jack

• General tasks i.e. cab cleaning, electrical cable management

• Follow client standards operating procedures

• Maintain the cold chain and product integrity during offloading

• Maintain proper company image in transit and at customer premises i.e proper equipment maintenance and attire.

• Guiding the drivers while reversing

• General housekeeping

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 10

• Medically fit

• Reliable

• Work in a safe manner i.e. Ensure all safety requirements adhere too

• Prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Clean criminal record

• Must have own reliable transport to and from work
