Job brief
We are looking for a General Worker to participate in our store operations and activities. The General Worker’s responsibilities will include storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders accurately for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Check that IBT’s and return slips match with the goods despatched
- Ensuring that filing of IBT’s are done daily and executed in numerical order
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
- Report any discrepancies, like damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location
- Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and deliver to proper location
- Work as an active team member to achieve team goals
- Any adhoc tasks related to operational requirements within the Branch.

Requirements
- Physically fit able to lift heavy items
- Matric or equivalent essential
- Must be able to weekends, and public holidays
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state
