PRIMARY FUNCTION
Assist customers telephonically on a daily basis, support the sales reps, complete quotations and order processing. Complete necessary duties to provide excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Continuous training to keep up to date with products in all business units that is Power Quality , Power Distribution ,Industrial Controls and Protection , Safety and Standard Medium Voltage
- Understand the route to market for each business unit and apply this when quoting and offering advice to customers
- Understand the process for order processing for each business unit and apply it
- Load orders within the requested time frame meticulously
- Liaise with the required departments to ensure orders are processed, procured and invoiced based on customer requirements
- Proactive engagement with procurement to provide information on customers’ orders
- Weekly updates to customers on their outstanding orders
- Liaising with sales reps to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved
- Ensure dates on orders are updated and accurate at all times
- Ability to work in a diverse environment and complete tasks timeously
- Ability to provide technical assistance to customers and Customer Service team

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
- Grade 12 as a Minimum requirement
- Technical knowledge on electrical components
- Knowledge on Incoterms and export processes is an advantage
- Basic to intermediate knowledge in Excel
DIMENSIONS:
Meticulous order capturing, ability to offer technical advice, cost saving initiatives, proactive drive to achieve results and customer satisfaction.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- At least 5 years Customer Service experience
- Excellent telephone and email etiquette
- Computer Literate • Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a team and individually with minimal supervision
- Excellent command of the English language
