We make promises to our customers, and we’ll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

  • Working as a single or double crew, responsible for the care of your patients in your vehicle, transporting the patients to and from various locations for appointments and treatment.
  • Provision of first-class safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery and collection services ensuring the safety and well-being of patients which will include Bariatric patients either collecting or assisting in a movement
  • Comply with issued start times in line with contractual requirements including given break times set by the Control Team.
  • Conduct collections and deliveries in accordance with the plan and/or instructions from the PDA and or Control Team. You must inform control when available for work or upon completion of run.
  • Ensure Patient data in the PDA in line with training is completed accurately and in real-time during a working shift (Pick up, Drop times, and any change in patient information).
  • Following highway code, UK road legislation, and DHL driving standards at all times as part of the driving function of this role.
  • The vehicle is always clean and tidy, and defects are reported at the start of the shift or when the defect occurs.

  • Successful candidates must have a full, clean Driving Licence
  • 6 Months Experience preferred in a similar role
  • Diplomacy and ability to calm situations
  • As part of our patient care there will be a requirement to support and aid patient mobility and accessibility.
  • Have appropriate hand, eye and foot co-ordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-focus skills
