Job Description
- Working together with artisans performing maintenance at the factory
- Prepare work piece using power tools and hand tools (Cutting, Grinding and polishing)
- Removal of old plant equipment by means of Cutting with power tools, hand tools, measuring tools and gas torch
- Maintain workshop tools and equipment
- Maintain good housekeeping in the workshop and plants
- Disposal of unwanted articles/scrap in a safe and environmental friendly manner
- Box up flange
- General Rigging

- Maintain workshop Storage Containers
- Perform basic welding (Spot tac pieces together)
- Apply primer paint on all plant equipment to be installed at the workshop before fitted onsite
- Maintain and repair plant and yard areas Signage
- Assist in incident investigations
- Ensure that all safety standards are maintained

Qualifications & Experience
- Matric / Grade 12
- Completed a Level 2 Learnership (NQF 2) / N2 Mechanical
