The Opportunity: The Marketplace Specialist focuses on OfferZen’s marketplace health and liquidity. Primarily, this is achieved through effective candidate curation, marketplace analysis, and relevant reporting.
You manage the candidate pipeline from onboarding to approval, ensuring that candidates accepted to the marketplace have the skills and experience that fit what companies on OfferZen are looking for.
Also responsible for the candidate’s experience in the sign-up phase, including those who aren’t accepted onto the platform just yet.
What you’ll do: As the Marketplace Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the health of the talent marketplace by:

- Quickly and accurately making large volumes of data-driven decisions when reviewing candidate profiles. This requires a logical and systematic approach with relentless focus.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with candidates over email, phone calls and instant messaging.
- Ensuring our teams have a clear understanding of the curation objectives and approach. You’ll need to think strategically about how our business functions and how curation fits into your decisions.
- Working cross-functionally and with a good understanding of our marketplace data infrastructure, marketing objectives and operations processes to answer questions like:
- How well do candidates on the platform currently match what companies are looking for?
- What kind of companies and candidates should our marketing teams target to improve the average company / candidate’s chances of success on OfferZen?
- Are our company-facing teams enabled to understand the needs of our current candidate pools?
- Are our candidate-facing teams enabled to understand what our companies are currently looking for?
- Staying up to date with the latest trends in the tech (and recruitment) industry.
What you’ll need:
- A degree or diploma (or dropped out for an interesting reason).
- 1+ years using Looker (or other data analytics/visualisation tools).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working in tech and/or recruitment – advantageous
