RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating and capture students transport account on Excel and Sage
• Loading of student’s transport payments on Absa Business integrator
• Ensuring all invoices are captured against debit orders
• Managing municipal account’s age analysis and payment terms
• Resolving discrepancies and queries timeously through interaction with suppliers,
• Maintaining a clean set Accounts Payable reconciliation with all relevant documents (i.e. no unresolved items)
• Compiling monthly reports for NSFAS and Sage against general ledger
• Recording and filling of all the documents

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) with Accounting
• National Diploma / Degree in Financial Management with Accounting (or similar)
• 3-4 years’ experience in local trade Accounts Payable
• General knowledge of Accounting
• Must be computer literate in MS Excel

RECOMMENDATIONS

• Previous Computer Accounting Programme knowledge and experience
• Experience in the TVET sector
• Knowledge of Tertiary Software Packages (ITS or similar)
