KEY OUTPUTS
- Cleaning, stocking, and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc., soap dispensers, towel dispensers)
- Carry out special cleaning projects when required
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies/need for repairs
- Follow prescribed health and safety regulations as set out by the line manager
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of Grade 8 or equivalent qualification
- Prior cleaning experience in a hospital theatre facility will be an advantage
- Ability to handle heavy cleaning equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Willingness to work shift in accordance with the requirements of the unit
- The ability to adhere consistently to standards
- Exhibits full responsibility for own work output
